Hello everyone!
I hope you had a lovely time these holidays!
A few days before New Year's Eve I went to the Gold Coast, AU.
Gold Coast is one of the most popular tourist destinations here in Australia. It is quite hot, it has lots of beautiful beaches and of course... big theme parks.
Here are some pics:
Thanks to a photo filter I got a tan :) |
The view from the hotel: the ocean |
Me posing but looking a bit stiff :P |
Seaworld |
Surfers Paradise |
My only chance to wear a hat |
I also went to MovieWorld (movie-themed park) and to Wet n' Wild (water park). My favourite place by far was the water park! I am still a child when it comes to these activities.
This cake is called Vasilopita. I made it :) Vasilopita is a traditional Greek cake served at midnight on New Year's Eve to celebrate the life of Saint Basil. After baking the vasilopita, a coin is inserted through the base and when cut the person who finds the coin is said to be granted luck for the rest of the year! (Thank you Wiki)
I didn't win but that's ok!
Thank you so much for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it. Currently I have some relatives from Greece staying at my house, which makes it hard to record a video. Hopefully I can make one by the end of the month. I say it all the time but thank you so much for your patience.
Love,
M.
My sunglasses are from Quay Australia (My Girl), in case you are interested.
Sounds like you had a lot of fun. The vasilopita makes me wish you'd do a Greek cuisine asmr video. It also makes me want some cake. It looks good :)
